Job Description:

  • Administers pre-employment tests to ensure favorable background check, and drug screening.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data to payroll in a timely manner.
  • Assist with day to day operations of the human resources functions and duties; maintains human resources information system records, enter all new hires and process terminations.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers during the recruiting process.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, training, etc.
  • Handle employment verifications and new hire documents.
  • Handle essential recruitment tasks, post jobs, review resumes, contact candidates, and schedule interviews.
  • Performs other HR related duties as required and assigned.
  • Prepare job descriptions.
  • Prepare offer letters.
  • Process documentation and run ad hoc reports from the HR database as needed.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to current HR staff.
  • Screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and acts as liaison between company and staffing agency.


Experience and Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business, or its equivalent HR and Recruiting experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR and recruiting combined with a degree. At least 3 years of experience without a degree.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated follow-up and follow through skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
